Weekly Newsletter Feb. 13 '26 - How Rebranding Elevated My Business

Feb 13, 2026
Connect

Hi there, designer đź‘‹

If you’ve been following along through my newsletter or Instagram stories, you know my goal is always the same:

I want you to walk away with at least one piece of information you can actually use.

Most of what I share comes from learning things the hard way - often without anyone to turn to - and instead of gatekeeping that knowledge, I choose to give it freely.

So this week, I want to take a step back to February 2025, when I launched my new website and rebranded my business.

One year later, I can honestly say it quietly changed everything.

Why I knew it was time

My business had grown. My pricing had evolved.
The level of responsibility I carried had increased.

But my website - and the materials supporting it - no longer reflected that.

And here’s the truth:
high-end clients decide how they feel about you long before they ever contact you.

Your website does that work for you.

A refined design process made a huge difference

One of the biggest changes I made during the rebrand was clearly defining and displaying my design process.

I always had a process - but once clients could see it laid out clearly, they immediately felt like they were stepping into a structured, professional business.

Clarity builds confidence. And confidence attracts higher-end clients.

Finally showing completed projects

Another major milestone was finally being able to showcase completed projects - some of which I had been working on quietly for nearly four years.

When the brand finally matched the level of my work, I felt ready to show it.
And higher-end clients responded.

Upgrading everything behind the scenes

I didn’t stop at the website.

I updated every client-facing touchpoint - from my investment guide, to proposals, welcome pack and presentation templates - so everything felt cohesive, professional, and intentional.

Clients are never left guessing. Every step is documented.
Every phase is clearly directed.

That level of clarity is luxury.

One year later…

I now receive better inquiries. Clients come in already aligned with my process.
And I spend far less time explaining or justifying my fees.

Alignment changes everything.

A quick shoutout

If you’re considering a rebrand or feel like your business has outgrown its current website, I highly recommend working with a professional web designer.

I’ll link the designer I worked with in the blog - she helped translate my voice and values into a brand that finally feels aligned with where my business is today.

If you reach out to her, please don’t forget to mention my name 🤍

If your business feels like it’s ready for the next level, this post might resonate.

Thank you for being here and for building your business thoughtfully - one aligned decision at a time.

Weekly Newsletter Apr. 10 '26 - A Designer Asked Me About My Design Process…
Hi there, designer 👋 After my last newsletter about finishing the design documentation for a large project, a designer reached out and asked me a great question: “What does your actual design process look like?” I realized this is something many designers are curious about, because when you're starting out it can feel unclear how a professional project actually moves from idea to completion. So...
Weekly Newsletter Apr. 03 '26 - A Lesson I Learned From An Architect With 38 Years of Experience
Hi there, designer 👋 I just wrapped up a very big milestone in my studio this week. For the past three months, I’ve been working on the design development for a 6,000 sq. ft. home renovation. It was a very detailed process that included everything from layouts, 3Ds and elevations to materials, millwork, and overall design direction for the home. In total, the design presentation phase alone las...
Weekly Newsletter Mar. 27 '26 - The Skills That Quietly Change a Designer’s Career
Hi there, designer 👋 Over the past few weeks I’ve been sharing a few behind-the-scenes moments from my studio. We talked about outsourcing too early. I shared the story about the long corridor consultation that turned into a quick three-hour project. And last week I wrote a more personal note about why I started Interior Design Den in the first place. There’s a common thread behind all of those...
